Bridge success in keeping pupils off road in Eatergate

Parents and pupils are enjoying a safe route to Eastergate Primary School.

The improved journeys in the worst of the winter weather have been made possible thanks to a new bridge.

The opening of the structure was reported in the Observer last September and was welcomed at the time by mums and their children. Their enthusiasm has been sustained. A recent survey of parents has found that positive response continuing.
